This is a small prototype I made in Unreal Engine 5.0 to explore an idea that came to my mind when I was at the mall with my whole family.
In those days I was making a prototype of an automatic tool to create emerging floor tiles, but I wasn’t very happy with the result yet.
When I was at the mall I look down and I see this strange irregular mosaic floor
Of course the floor wasn’t REALLY irregular but had a clever pattern to hide the repetition, but it was enough to inspire me to create a real random mosaic floor for my prototype.
Basically I want to use a very rough blockout to create game levels, so I design this simple level
